JOE CERVELIN is a writer, performer,
and MMA talk show host, based out of
Los Angeles. He's originally from

comic, Soul Paste feat. Arnie the
Flaming Bag of Dog-Poo is now
available through Amazon.
He holds a BA from Sarah Lawrence
College, an MFA in Creative Writing
from USF, and a Professional Program
in Screenwriting certificate from UCLA.
Joe's writing has appeared in Fourteen
Hills, Bay Nature, SF Bay Guardian,
Bang Out, The Rumpus, Routes:
Achiote Press Antholgy, More Bridges:
SFWC Anthology, Switchback, Hawaii
Womens Journal, and elsewhere. His
micro fiction received an Honorable
Mention in Rattling Wall's micro-fiction
contest. His prose poem, "Before Light
Changes," was the co-winner of the
Guardian's Lit 123 Contest. His lyrical
essay, "The Beach as Office," won
Best Writing Award at the San
Francisco Writers Conference.
He also won a monster drawing contest
in first grade.
